Alcohol Addiction Treatment near Indianapolis, Indiana

What is Alcohol Addiction?

Alcohol addiction, also known as alcohol use disorder (AUD), is a chronic condition determined by the inability to control or stop drinking despite the harmful consequences. In society, casual and social drinking is typically acceptable and normalized. Frequently engaging in this behavior, however, can escalate into a dependence on alcohol,  to cope with stress, emotions, or daily life. Over time, alcohol addiction can severely impact a person’s physical health, mental well-being, relationships, and overall quality of life.

At Ladoga Recovery Center, we understand the common complexities of alcohol addiction and its effects on individuals and their families. We provide compassionate and comprehensive treatment programs tailored to meet the unique needs of each person, focusing on both the physical and psychological aspects of recovery. Our experienced team is here to guide you through the process, offering support, therapy, and tools for long-term sobriety. What is the Alcohol Withdrawal and Detox Process?

Those with alcohol addiction face complex and serious symptoms if one suddenly quits drinking. Such withdrawal symptoms may include anxiety, sweating, nausea, tremors, and even seizures, making it dangerous to quit drinking suddenly without medical supervision.

Our medically supervised detox programs ensure a safe and supportive environment for managing withdrawal symptoms. After detox, we offer customized therapy modalities such as CBT, individual and group therapy programs to help individuals build healthier coping strategies and regain control over their lives. We’ll work with you to decide if residential or inpatient treatment is needed to support long-term recovery. With the right care and support, overcoming alcohol addiction is possible, and Ladoga Recovery Center is here to guide you through every step of the process.
